Kitten keeps meowing at me?

Question

He keeps following me around and meowing at me! He tried to trip me a few times by running circles around my feet when I'm walking. He taps his paw on my leg when I'm cooking or washing dishes and then looks up meows at me.

I made sure he has fresh food and water, his litter box is clean, and everything else in the house seems fine. There's no loud noises going on or anything, What's his problem?

He's been doing it all day today and I'm considering taking him to the vet but he doesn't seem sick or injured or anything.

Your kitten probably hasnt gotten any attention at all! Try to take more time out of your scedual to play with the cat, at pet it more reguarly1

kittens are very miscivious, and allways want 2 play! :)

Sounds to me that your kitten wants attention. Whether its to be held or petted. Try playing with him. Get him some little toys.  If you have already done that, then well he is just a typically kitten.. :-)

I think he just wants attention. My 12 year old cat still does the same things. He just loves having people pet him and show him affection. I think kittens are even more insistant on this attention since they're used to their mothers fussing over them. Let him sit on your lap when you're watching TV or reading, and whenever you've got a spare moment, scratch his back or behind his ears.

he wants to cuddle. Kittens cuddle together. we fouund a small kitten someone dumped out their car. It was really young. And she needed a lot of attention. She would snuggle up with us at night in bed and any time we sat down she had to be on our laps. She did outgrow this after a few months. She's just lonely

Try sitting and holding him and see if that settles him down.If not think of what is different in his routine and change that.If your cat is not fixed he might get the urge but if all else fails  have the vet take a look at him.good luck
