  1. Your cat sounds totally cute!

All the other answers are correct, but to help give her that motherly feel you should wet the tip of a tissue and wipe it on her head or nose, its what her mum would have done, but with her tounge

  2. aw, shes well cute by the sounds of it :D my kittens do that to me aswell, but one thems a little poobag haha

  3. This is common for kittens that have been weaned from their Mommas too soon and it is also something that most cats do from time to time when they are feeling comfortable with you and their surroundings. Now when a kitten or cat starts biting, kicking and slapping that means they are irritated and need to be left alone.

  4. that meens she loves you

  5. It seems like she's trying to nurse.  If the kitten was weaned too early, she'll do that, or it may just be a habit of hers to feel secure.

I wouldn't worry about it, unless it continues into adulthood, then it may be an obsession.

  6. You are, in a way, being treated as a mother cat.  She is being very affectionate to you.  But you need to gently discourage biting, perhaps by gently pushing her away.  She likely will outgrow the biting, but if not, it can be serious.

In l*****g you, she is taking in your scent and imprinting it on her.  Even my over 13 1/2 year old cat will still l**k me on occasion.

Sometimes it means they were separated from their mother too soon.

  7. She sees you as her mother and connects that to her nursing days. sometimes they'll do that, shell soon grow out of it.

  8. She is suckling and needs lots of reassurance,

  9. Your kitten probably got taken away from her mother too soon. She needs to be with her mother for at least eight weeks.

It means she's both hungry, and wants comfort. Kittens are comforted by l*****g and sucking as it reminds them of their mother. Currently, you are acting like a sort of surragate. When your cat does this, try feeding her. Also, rub her and give her attention. She loves you!

  10. this is usually a sign of premature weaning... some cats though never grow out of it...
