Kitten problem?

we just got a 3 month old kitty and it has been living for us about a week now, i think the kitty adjusted to us as their parents basically. We have to let our new kitten go to a friends house to live for a month, because someone is allericic to it, and after a month we will get it back.how do you think this will mess with a kitty's thinking?how will it react to us when we get it back?since it will be living their for a month compared to 1 week here, will it realize we are not their real owners but in reality we really are

I have 4 cats and I fostered kittens. I had the kittens for 3-4 months and my friend adopted one. The cat was very playful at my house but when it got to their house it became very shy. It has been with them for about a year and is still very shy. If someone has allergies how are you going to put the cat back in the house? your kitty may be scared kittens want to be in a home where they know they will live a long life.

First, calm down......your kitten will be fine.....it will adjust to that home and when you get her back, it will be like the first week all over again for the kitten in your home....after that first week, she'll love you and accept you as her parents.

Kittens adjust fast. It might be confused for a short time but as long as you love it it will see that and be fine. you would be surprised on how animals remember people.

it is so young of course the kitten will b confused. dont worry, though. once he/she comes back and lives with you for longer, it will gain the understanding that you in fact are his real parents.
