  1. It's a KITTEN - they PLAY - what did you expect?  Also, why would anyone suggest getting another cat????

You need to play with him before bedtime so that he is tired.  Put a cosy bed in a room of his own (even a bathroom will do as long as he has everything in it that he needs like food/water/litter trays etc).  Place an old item of your clothing in the bed, such as an old jumper and CLOSE THE DOOR.  You could also try leaving a radio playing softly for him as this will comfort him.

He might create for a couple of nights but will soon settle into a routine.

  2. uh, because hes a KITTEN. honestly, do you even know the first thing about kittens?

  3. Leave it in another room with the door shut so that it won't be able to scratch at YOUR door, so you won't hear it. Leave it a basket and some food and water - eventually it will get used to it.

  4. he will always wake at this time,it is dawn cats dont sleepin

  5. Steal another cat...

    Nah don't do that.

Anyways its nothing to worry about, my cat is around 11 weeks old and does the same thing.

I think that since its young it only sleeps alittle just like a human baby....

  6. My does exactly the same thing, my cat is 10 weeks old. I guess they are just attention seeking and kitten are playful it gets better when they get older. When I don't want to be disturbed, as long as I keep my hands and feet under the cover I am "safe"....hehe

  7. You need to get a bed for it and leave it in the laundry or some other room at night with water and it's kitty litter, this is what i've done with my cats after too many sleep-deprived nights, after about 1 or 2 years or so they get used to the schedule and realise it's time to sleep so you will be able to trial him sleeping out of the laundry or whatever until he wont wake you up any more (that's your only option really, hes a kitten and kittens loves to play)

p.s he won't like it in the beginning but after a month or two they get used to it when my cat was tired she used to put herself to bed some nights.

p.p.s you'll need a lock on the outside of the door because kittens are very clever.

    good luck!

  8. First of all, there's no need for another cat unless you want 2 cats waking you up in the morning!

They do this - nearly every cat I know does something similar. He's doing it to get your attention - maybe because he's hungry but most likely he just wants some action. Cats don't understand that we humans tend to get all our sleep in one shot, unlike cats who don't have jobs and can sleep whenever it suits them!

Only thing I could suggest would be not having him sleep in your room but more than likely he'd just scratch at the door.

  9. Don't allow it in your room.
