Kittens in the corner

ma cat had kittens last friday, and since yesterday she has moved them out her box and into the corner of the living room, and wont put them back in the box.

Is this normal?

im scared they get cold.

  1. This is normal, she is just moving them to where she feels more comfortable.  


  2. Its normal. Mama cats frequently move their kittens around for safety.  Don't be surprised if they are moved again soon, possibly to a place you can't find right away.  Its cat instincts at work.  If the kittens stay in one place for too long they may be observed by predators.  Moving them keeps them safe.  Sure your home is safe from predators, but mama is doing what comes natural to cats.  

  3. It is normal for a mother cat to move her kittens.  If you bother them too much she may move them again.  Maybe you should set something in front of the corner to give her privacy.  They shouldn't get cold this time of year, especially if she stays with them most of the time.  Be careful she doesn't take them outside.

  4. my sisters cat had kittens and we made her a place to put them but she always moves them so she prolly moved them to where she feels more comfortable most likely but if you are worried that they would be cold maybe try and put a blanket in the corner
