Kiwis in Aus?

Why is it that so many Kiwis live in Australia. About half of the worlds Kiwi population lives in Australia Full time and i'm not counting the pacific islanders who wish they from New Zealand. Why do all the Kiwis live in Australia.

    Maybe they are all here to entice Richard Wilkins (or is the Ruchard Wulkuns) to return to NZ.

    Stay where you are New Zealand!  Just stay where you are!

    Reason is, NZ permanent residents (or was it citizens only) are allowed to stay in Australia permanently as well, last time I checked.
