ok. ok so I am 13 and i am getting the cramps and usual stuff for a period. but i STILL haven't gotten it, i have been getting cramps and my usual mood swings and attitudes... but no period!!!! i think i am getting the "discharge" or whatever it is but i don't know what it looks like or anything i am fairly new to all this.... so any advice would be considered. thanks

perfectly normal, i get that all the time. its normal to skip a few months at your age as well. only worry if you miss more than 3 months. the discharge should be clear to whitish. ibuprofen may help the cramps.

How long have you been getting the cramps? You are probably ovulating if not long. That means that the egg is exiting your ovary and going into your uterus. Then after the egg is in there for a matter of days ready to fertilize, the tissue built up for the baby sheds out, and there is your blood. Do not be afraid if it has clumps, or don't be afraid if your period is a little off color, as in brown. If you have pain/cramps off to one side that means that you are ovulating, and your period will come in a few days. Good luck, I hope I helped.

well, i'm not a girl, but based on what i've heard from my girlfriends.... yeah, you could be getting your period.... i'm not exactly sure if you've already gotten it before and now it's just late, which is normal when you're just starting out, or if you're waiting for the first one to come around. if you havent gotten it before, then dont worry too much about it, maybe you just have an upset stomach. your period will come soon enough.

Discharge is a white/clear mucous wetness from your v****a. You can have this normal discharge for weeks, months or even years before getting your first period.  The cramps and the mood swings are just your body's way of warming up and getting ready.  It will happen.
