The Schalke striker believes that he made the perfect decision to play in the Bundesliga after poor spells in Spain and Italy.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Klaas-Jan-Huntelaar-c21175 has revealed his delight on playing for Schalke after having a torrid time in Spain and Italy with Real Madrid and AC Milan, respectively. However, he still considers it an honour to represent two of Europe’s
top clubs, and is satisfied with his role at both the former sides.
The striker admitted that he had a difficult time in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 with Milan, but still reserved positive remarks regarding the Serie A. He insisted that it was difficult for him to settle at Rossoneri and adjust to the conditions in
Italy. The striker spent one year with the reigning Italian champions, making 25 league appearances, bagging seven goals in return.
Huntelaar played 20 league games for Los Blancos, scoring eight goals in the process. While talking to the official FIFA website, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 international further added:
"Real Madrid are a fantastic club. I really liked their attacking play, and I felt the club played very good football. I appreciated that. Italian football is a bit different, but it has its good points too. As people sometimes
say, every rose has thorns."
On the other hand, Huntelaar expressed his pleasure at joining Schalke in 2010. He mentioned that he feels proud to be a part of one of Germany’s most fancied clubs and is eager to continue with his goal scoring performances.
The Dutchman added that he is more comfortable playing at Schalke as he gets to play at his favourite centre forward position, and has been extremely successful in that role.
“The club is always there or thereabouts at the top in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 and after my spell with AC Milan, the transfer was a step in the right direction, especially because I was picked to play in my favoured position of centre-forward
at long last," Huntelaar concluded.
The attacker has so far scored 24 times for the club in the Bundesliga from 42 appearances, and has been in sublime form so far this season, having scored 16 goals from 18 appearances.
