The Schalke striker has been linked with a move to Manchester United at the end of the season.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar’s future with Die Knappen has been under speculation for the last few months.  The striker is willing to commit his future to Schalke but is yet to start any contract negotiations with the club officials. The

It has been reported that Premier League club, Manchester United, are interested in signing Huntelaar during the summer transfer window. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753 international was reportedly linked with a move away from the Veltins-Arena
outfit during the January transfer window but decided against his transfer.
The former AC Milan striker also admitted that there has been an interest from Manchester United but has ruled out any move in the near future. Instead, the attacker is keen on negotiating a new offer from his current club before
taking any decision regarding his future in the country. He mentioned that it might also be possible that he continues playing in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 for the rest of his career.
While talking to sports website, Bild.com, the 28-year-old further added: "If Schalke is willing to negotiate a deal, we will sit down and discuss this. I am ready to listen to what Schalke would be prepared to offer. It would
be an option for me to retire from the game as a Schalke player."
On the other hand, Huntelaar expressed his desire to win the Bundesliga with Schalke. He insisted that it is an honour for him to be approached by a big club such as United but claimed that he is happy at his current club.
"We have a young squad and first team. [But] to win the German Bundesliga with Schalke would be like a dream coming true. Anyway, if there is another good club looking to offer me something, I would consider this also,"
Huntelaar concluded.
Huntelaar has been in prolific goal scoring form this season and is in contention for the Golden Boot award alongside Bayern Munich’s Mario Gomez. The Dutchman has 18 league goals from 22 league appearances.
