5. David Lighty
Ohio State Buckeyes’ prolific shooting guard David Lighty has been the favourite player for every coach in the college league. During his high School, Lighty played for the Villa Angela-St. Joseph and led the team to a state runner
up finish with an average of 22 points as he was named the Player of the Year in 2005.
Although the numbers in the start of the college career with the Ohio University didn’t reflected his brilliance as he was struggling with injuries however he became an important player for the team during his junior season. Recently,
David was selected in the fifth All America team.
Lighty is a magnificent player without any doubt and he can do all the right things for any team in NBA.
4. Travis Leslie
One of the most athletic players in this year’s draft is Travis Leslie from Georgia. Leslie has impressed the NBA scouts with his extra special athleticism and great ball handling skills. With the height of 6 feet and 4 inches,
Travis might not be the tallest guy in the draft however he is great at rebound and an effective dunker.
Travis is a reasonable parameter shooter as well and he can alleviate the pressure from the team during the crunch time.
3. Alec Burks
University of Colorado Buffalo’s 19 year old shooting guard Alec Burks is a big offensive threat who breaks into any kind of defence commandingly. At the same time, Burks is very active on the defence as well and creates a number
of opportunities for his teammates to keep the score board ticking.
During the 2010-2011 season, Burks averaged 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists. In a very short time, Burks has proved to have the potential of becoming a dominating player in NBA. With a couple of years of professional
guidance and exposure, Alec can do wonders for any team.
2. Marshon Brooks
The 22 year old shooting guard of Providence University Marshon Brooks is not only an offensive threat; he is quite dynamic on the defence as well. Brooks is one of those players who keeps the show running on the front court and
at the same time restricts the best shooters of the opponent from taking control.
In his senior season, Marshon led his college team in scoring and rebounding with an average of 24.6 points and 7.0 boards per game. Brooks finished his college career as the ninth All-Time Providence player with 1629 points.
