USA manager, Jurgen Klinsmann, believes that Fulham star Clint Dempsey should find himself a better club if he wishes to further develop as a player.

Dempsey’s future has been the subject of plenty of speculation since the end of the Barclays Premier League season as a number of top clubs are weighing up a move to take the player away from Craven Cottage in the summer transfer window.
One person in particular, is the coach of the player’s national team, Jurgen Klinsmann explains that he has had discussions with Dempsey in the past over the opportunity to move to a club that plays in the Champions League.
Klinsmann said, “His goal is the right goal, we have often discussed it. If he has the opportunity to go to a Champions League team, that’s the crème de la crème of club soccer then you have to do that, with all the respect obviously to Fulham, as he often
mentions.”
The manager of the US team is hopeful that although nothing has happened yet, “something will happen over the next couple of weeks.” He continued, “if it doesn’t happen then he has to keep pounding away and knocking at the door.”
Klinsmann also shared the fact that the pair discuss his future often and that although they “haven’t talked about it yet (this week)” the manager would discuss “different ways of approaching things” when the two would get a chance to meet.
Dempsey himself has not ruled out a move away from Fulham and may very well find himself plying his trade elsewhere. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Paris St. Germain have both been linked with the player and will be waiting for the right moment to come forward with an offer.
However, once that happens one can expect a number of clubs to show interest in a player who has been Fulham’s best player over the past three years.
