  1. If it's in your budget, go Definitive Technology.  It'll cost you big but man, their speakers will melt your face off with awesomeness.  Nothing wrong with Klipsch, they're great too.  But Def Tech just has these crystal clear, brilliant highs and tight, thundering lows (Supercube).

  2. def tech, but i'd recommend a ps3 if you havent bought bluray player yet...its the most futureproof (2.0 update downloadable soon)

  3. Definitive Technology tends to be a good bit better in sound reproduction.  They continue to win "best of" awards while Klipsch does not even make the list.

Klipsch became famous back when 300 watts of power was needed per channel for stereo. They came up with a horn design that sounded decent with lower wattage. They were the first to drive speaker builders to make higher efficiency speakers.  But this was about 20-30 years ago.

I have returned Klipsch speakers, but my DefTech towers continue to impress.

Just make sure to go with the smaller, nearly identical cube speakers and leave the bass duties to an external subwoofer.  While cool - the powered towers are not the best for home theater use.  My subwoofers in my towers are currently off in favor of a external sub.

  4. Thats definitely depends on your budget but there is no sense in put  a $380, 90watts per channel receiver with a almost $1000 p/p of a home theater Definitive speakers , if you have money you can buy it and then upgrade the receiver to a most powerful one that can move the Definitive, but you're better with Klipsch in terms of matching with the receiver.
