Klitschko brothers: We are fit and will continue to dominate the heavyweight division – Boxing news
Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, the Klitschko brothers, in a recent interview expressed their plans of dominating the heavyweight division for long.
Both the brothers authoritatively rule the whole boxing universe and have an intense urge and desire to continue their reign over the heavyweight division even if they are scheduled to stand against men like Dereck Chisora and Jean-Marc Mormeck.
Vitali Klitschko, who is bound to take on the Briton Dereck Chisora, is the older brother who currently holds the prestigious WBC heavyweight title. Vitali had been in a total 45 brawls and has lost only two of them. Vitali is famous for his knockout ratio
and stats. He has collected a whopping 40 wins by knocking the heads off his opponent’s shoulders hence a percentage of 88.89%, the highest in the whole heavyweight division.
Vitali is a huge pounder he is infamous as the Doctor Ironfist, only because of his heavy, straight, targeted, and effective yet brutal punching capability and fist power.
When asked to comment on his current physique and the buzz regarding his aging and lose of strength Vitali commented, “I am not yet in the best shape but I will be on fight night. I am preparing for one of the toughest opponents of the world. I was very
impressed how Dereck Chisora fought against Helenius and for me – without any doubt – he has won the fight. After that performance I wanted to take him next as I always want to prove myself against the best.”
The duo both were happy that they are training together after such a long time so much so that Vitali mentioned it specifically, “It was in 2004 when we had a training camp together. It feels just great: we train together, we eat together and we discuss
a lot of things.”
Wladimir on the other hand is scheduled to take on Jean-Marc Mormeck, the French Marksman.
Wladimir had been in a total 59 bouts same as the Pac-Man, Manny Pacquiao. He has won 56 of his brawls and has knocked out 49 opponents hence securing a knock out ratio of 83.05%.
Wladimir remarked excitingly that it is only because of his elder brother Vitali who first started walking the tough road of boxing and he while looking up at his life’s ideal personality, punched off his career and superseded his own brother in collecting
wins and titles.
Wladimir will place his WBA Super World heavyweight title, IBF heavyweight title, WBO heavyweight title, and International Boxing Organization heavyweight title on the line against Jean.
Vitali will put his WBC heavyweight title on the line against Dereck. The Klitschko duo is scheduled to take on their opponents on February 18, 2012 and will put their great show of strength at Olympiahalle arena in Munich, Germany.
