Klitschko challenges Haye for a fight next year
The heavy weight boxing champ from Ukraine, Vitali Klitschko, has again challenged his British arch rival David Haye for a bout next year.
The veteran boxing champ has successfully defended his World Boxing Council title for the fifth time by knocking Shannon Briggs out this weekend.
The thirty-nine year old, who mercilessly thrashed his American rival Shannon Briggs in a title defending bout in Germany earlier this week, has announced that he wants to fight again next year and the Briton David Haye is his focus.
After winning the fight the Ukrainian veteran expressed and challenged Haye in a very blunt manner and said that now it is his target to knock down David Haye and snatch his belt. It is also to be noticed that Klitschko’s younger brother Wladimir Klitschko
is an International Boxing Federation, World Boxing Organization and International Boxing Organization titles champ.
Wladimir is now eyeing to fight the British veteran champ boxer Dereck Chisora on the 11th of December.
While expressing his thoughts and ambitions Klitschko said that he is the best fighter in the World and there is no one around, except his brother, who can beat him. He added that he is strong and eager to fight more and in a few months he will hit the ring
again to thrash the rivals out.
According to some news reports Odlanier Solis from Cuba or Ray Austin from America are going to be Klitschko’s official challengers for the bout in December. But the Ukrainian fighter is tempting WBA champion, David Haye, for a tussle. It is also to be noticed
that Haye is going to face his compatriot Audley Harrison on the 13th of December.
Klitschko said that it is time for Haye to prove himself as a good fighter because last year Haye rejected Klitschko’s challenge to fight.
Very recently the business manager of Klitschko, Bernd Bonte announced that their offer is very fair for Haye and the offer is that each fighter will receive fifty percent of the World rights. He added that the proposal is very fair for Haye and he has to
agree to it.
On the other hand the American Shannon Briggs released a statement on Monday in which he admired the game and power of Klitschko. According to the statement Shannon has suffered some serious injuries during the match and he will stay in the hospital.
In the statement Briggs has told the World about his current physical condition and has said that according to the doctors he will have to stay in the hospital. The statement added that the doctors have concluded that there are no brutal head injuries.
Briggs also admired the brilliance of Vitali Klitschko and has said that Vitali is quick and powerful and it is very difficult to fight against such a powerful fighter. The statement continued and said that Briggs suffered a left bicep injury during the
match and his trainer Herman Caicedo wanted to stop the fight but Briggs decided to fight till the end.
