He's ten pounds heavier than he was when he fought Lamon Brewster? Will his weight have a negative affect on the fight?

  1. yea wlad is trim at 238 , keep im mind he is 6'6 , i think he is coming in light because his opponent is a small quick guy and he wants to be as fast as he can hence a lighter a weight

  2. Nope--weight is power

  3. Yes and No. The last time he gained extra weight he was slower, so this will be a disadvantage, however against a guy that is already smaller, it could make that knockout punch come that much quicker. Overall if my fighter weights more than the other guy, I want him leaner rather than larger... This will be a good test, to see if he really is the best of the present fighters.

  4. Actually Klitschko weighed  243.5 lbs in his last fight, so Klitschko has lost weight.

  5. Weight is irrelevant for Klitschko as he always turns up in top condition for every fight.

He is actually a few pounds lighter than his last fight, and having heard him and Emanuel speak about the importance of this fight and the class of his opponent, I'm sure he's in the best shape of his entire career.

  6. You need to visit Boxrec.com and check out his weight for both Brewster fights. wladmir's weight is a none issue. He is always in Shape. It's mostly mental with him.

  7. Actually, Klitschko would be five pounds lighter than he was against Brewster. It would be the lightest he has weighed, since 2000 when he fought Chris Byrd the first time. I doubt the weight would have any effect on Klitschko, especially a five pound difference in his weight. Klitschko will win a second belt Saturday night.
