  1. Klonopin is in the same drug class as Ativan.  They are both benzodiazepines.  Because you are taking the Klonopin you may not feel withdrawl from Ativan.  I have taken it before and my best friend takes it.

If you are not seeing a psychiatrist then see if you can see one because they are better a diagnosing and treating illnesses.  Perhaps they might want to try another drug class completely.

  2. You may have some withdrawal symptoms but rest assured they will go away. Try not to worry about what has not happened. Klonopin should help. Your doctor is probably trying to keep you from  becoming addicted to Klonopin

  3. I was given Xantax for both panic and anxiety...I hated how I felt after it wore off, (very irritable). So instead, they put me on Klonopin...well, I will warn you they are addicitve. They always made me feel relaxed...a little to relaxed and I knew I had to stop. After my last prescription I promised I wouldn't get them refilled and I haven't. Just pace yourself.....if you feel you really need one, then try 1/2 and see how you feel. I would only take it when you absolutely have to. If you think your anxiety and panic attacks are bad....having an addiction on top of it is absolute disaster.

  4. Please my I just give you a heads up ?

Klonopin is very adictive once it is in the blood system, and it does work great but once you start to take it you will have to keep on taking, as i have had very bad effects when I tried to lower, or stop for only 2 day's it is a very good pill for anxiety, but the withdrawal is very bad.
