The Black Yellows’ trainer feels that his side’s fierce rivals will talk to their recently announced manager ahead of their Champions League game with Barcelona
Borussia Dortmund head coach Jurgen Klopp is aware that Bayern Munich sporting director Matthias Sammer will tap into the knowledge of former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 boss Pep Guardiola. This is because the Bavarian outfit have been drawn against
the La Liga leaders in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
On the other hand, the BVB are also to face Spanish opposition after being paired with Spanish champions’ Real Madrid in the last four of the European competition. However, Pep will take over the reins from Der FCB boss Jupp Heynckes
at the end of the season.
As a result, Klopp feels that they will consult Pep on how to tackle Barca in order to reach the final at Wembley in May. He claimed that Sammer will do anything to win in the make or break clash, but he believes that it will not
make a huge difference as Guardiola will not be coaching Die Roten on the match day.
"I would bet my life that Sammer and Guardiola will talk very well. But it does not matter because Guardiola cannot play on the pitch," Klopp added.
He further added that his own team is now focused on their Champions League tie against Real Madrid.
"I am delighted it is now clear who we will meet, now football can be played!" he continued.
"It's a good draw, both pairings are optimal for European football. We will be slight underdogs, but we have already beaten them this season," he mused.
"We earned a lot of respect from those two games and the only shame is we don't play away from home first," he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Moreover, Dortmund president http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-c25261 Zorc feels they will not be the favourites despite beating Madrid in the group stages of the competition. He stated it is a good fixture but is hopeful of getting another positive result. Zorc
said they got a lot of respect from the group games but is not happy with the first leg being in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904.
