The Borussia Dortmund manager has expressed his delight on winning the Bundesliga for the second time in two years.
Borussia Dortmund secured their second consecutive title after winning the game against Borussia Monchengladbach at home Saturday. The home side won the match with a 2-0 scoreline courtesy goals from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shinji-Kagawa-c33364.
The champions are now eight points ahead of Bayern Munich with two games to go until the end of the season. The Bavarian giants won their respective game against Werder Bremen but have been outclassed by the Black Yellows for the
second time in two years.
Jurgen Klopp claimed that it is a huge achievement for his side and admitted that the league title this year is his biggest achievement thus far. He insisted that there was a lot of competition throughout the course of the campaign
and hailed his players for coming out strong.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166 manager added that the eight-point gap at the top of the table shows how dominant Borussia Dortmund have been all season. He showered praise on his team for the sensational performances in this campaign and
stated that the team deserves the title more than any other side in the league.
“That was the biggest challenge that any team I have coached has ever had to deal with. They have such a good character, otherwise we would not be here with an eight-point cushion. To play such a game like today against such opponents
is incredible and if there were ever deserved champions, then they are these guys here,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Kevin Grosskreutz expressed his pleasure on winning the title and stated that the team will be celebrating in the next many days. He added that there is still one hurdle to go in the current season as Dortmund
still have the chance to win the DFB-Pokal when they take on Bayern Munich in the final next month.
“Germany cannot imagine how crazy things are going to be here and tonight in the city. Of course we will be fit for the final - we want to beat Bayern again there,” he concluded.
Dortmund will next take on FC Kaiserslautern on Saturday, April 28, at the Fritz-Walter-Stadium.
