United following their keen interest in the attacking player.
The best teams in the Premier League have been rumoured to be monitoring his progress. His current deal with defending champions will expire in the summer of 2014, but the tactician stressed that they are prepared if offers are
tabled for the forward in the January transfer window.
"I am not afraid to lose him," he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The manager claimed that United are very keen to sign and take him to Old Trafford. However, he said that he cannot seek a transfer unless the club lets him, as he is still under contract with the Bundesliga outfit. He stated that
English domination over German League is finally over and added that they have more bargaining power now.

"Manchester United is one of many clubs that are going to be showing an interest in him. But the fact remains the contract is with us,” the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166 05 striker added.
Klopp conceded that a few seasons ago, Premier League teams used to be able to easily sign German stars but that is not the case anymore. He suggested that Lewandowski will stay put and will be at Signal Iduna Park at least until
the end of the current campaign.

"The time when there were big, rich English clubs coming to lure German players away - thank God those times are over,” the 2012 German Manager of the Year stated.

"No, I'm not afraid I'll be losing him and in the second half of the season he'll be with us," he mused.
The BVB boss said that the striker will help their cause to retain the domestic league and do well in the UEFA Champions League.
