The Borussia Dortmund manager has insisted that the team should be motivated for the next campaign and is aiming for more success.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will be aiming for their third straight league title in the next campaign. The team has won the Bundesliga in the previous two outings and also secured the German Cup when they downed Bayern Munich last year.
However, the performances in the UEFA Champions League have been below par and need improvement.
Klopp claimed that he lays a lot of emphasis on motivation and constantly urges his team to do well. He insisted that he has a very good connection with the players and wants them to give their all at the highest stage.
The manager urged his team against complacency in the upcoming season as he feels that winning trophies in the next campaign will be the most difficult for his side. He admitted that the likes of Bayern Munich, Schalke and Borussia
Monchengladbach have all been busy in the transfer window to buy some of the best players in Europe so it will certainly not be easy.
“I place a lot of emphasis on motivation and enthusiasm. I can transmit that to the team and if there were somebody here who I could no longer motivate, then he would not be so happy here,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

matter. He is confident ahead of the new season and is aiming to repeat the performances from the previous two campaigns.
“To become a truly great coach, I would still have to achieve a lot of other things. That also means the duration of success,” he concluded.
Borussia Dortmund will take on Werder Bremen in their opening Bundesliga clash at the Signal Iduna Park on Friday, August 24. The side will be looking to get off to a winning start to make sure they stay alongside Bayern Munich,
who will take on Greuther Furth in a relatively easy clash.
