Knee length wedding dress

Question

I'm trying to decide if I want a knee length wedding dress. Has anyone seen any good designs they like?

Can you recommend a good website? I've looked at David's Bridal website, but haven't seen any i like.

This is not exactly knee length... I'm sure you can shorten it a little as it's tulle.... but I love this dress!!! And it's a lace-up back which will give you very beautiful curves!

I don't know if you watch it but in the episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where Robert gets married, his bride has a knee length dress. I really like those and am considering it for myself too.

I don't have any specific sites - new computer haven't transferred favorites....

look for "tea length" or "semi-formal" dresses.  The semi formal generally designates a shorter dress (used to be for afternoon/early weddings and the 'formal' gown was for evening ceremonies, as if that matters any more!)

As a long time sewer I would not recommend getting a long dress and having it shorten. First to get it hemmed properly could cost quite a bit money. And then not all long dresses are going to look good or hang right when shorten.

it seems people here have found lots of beautiful knee length dresses. buy one that is made to be short.

my sister recently got married in a knee length gown and it was absolutly stunning, one of the nicest dresses ive seen in my life, im definatly going to wear one when i get married!
