Knee pains while playing basketball and running intesnly

i used to have osgood schlatter in my knees when i played a lot of basketball and i grew 8 inches i just started today running a 3km run, suicides, sprints.. and playing basketball for 2 hours straight intensly and i feel the pain in my left knee again could it be a growth spurt again (im turning 14) im going to do this everyday do you think i will grow again my dad is 5 10 two uncles are 5'11 and 6'2 and my grandpa is 5 10 i am 5'7 and i did fall on my knee lightly but it doesnt hurt where i got hurt also before i was playing volleyball and it started to hurt

  1. it might be tendonitis bro... you should get that checked out or wear some kind of wrap or band to keep the part right below the knee cap tight.


  2. I'm 5'7'' and I'm 14 too. You aren't going through your growth spurt. You are growing because of your practicing. That's good. Everyone's growth spurt is until they're 18 yrs old. If you keep doing this you will become tall. And plus you still have your growth spurt ahead of you. Nice Job!:)
