Knee protecters, for like hockey or basketball?

Question

I play street hockey and i end up slideing alot on my pads and theres not alot of support on the pad, about an inch of plastic on the outside and on the inside theres like foamy stuff(for slideing) but im bigger and it doesn't help me at all. Do you have any idea something i could wear on my knees that i wont have to keep messing up in a game and that are comfortable....maybe give me some links to anything, and the prices....

Try some Pro-Tec Skateboard knee pads.  You can get them at a local skate shop for about $35 a set.
