  1. teenagers.

  2. A lot of the attacks have been in south london.

And its mainly been boys attacked.

Im not tryin to be negative but it could happen anywhere

  3. I think everyone is at risks. All ages. I thought my area one of the safest in south east safe until someone threatened my brother and he is 21. He was at work and someone threatened to slice his throat for being there! Its everywhere. Its like a war but war ends its like it never ends. Someone new everyday. You dont even need to have a problem with anyone to be a victim! I try to be as vigilant as i can. I never go to the top of the bus ever. I feel safer downstairs.

  4. it's young men who are the biggest targets - youths from 12-25 with the worst age probably between 14-18

it could happen anywhere but evenings, especially late evenings after some have had a few drinks that's bad

young men need to be aware, be streetwise, be sensible and be sober - but if you know of a male teenager like this either you've met an angel or someone who's living a very boring life

  5. The attacks are random & it appears to be mostly teen on teen violence at the moment.

Take sensible preacautions, don't wander around in places you don't know well at night (or in the day), stay in brightly lit areas & just keep your eyes open.  If you find yourself in a situation where you feel uncomfortable, get away from it as fast as you can.

  6. Remember that the population of London is around 8 million. Terrible as those attacks have been for the families of the victims, it's still only about 15 people a  year in 8 million.

I wonder how many people have died in traffic accidents in the same period of time?
