Knife crime how would you handle it?

Why was a poorer UK however faced with less crime in the 60s? Must be our prisons that offer free food, PS3s, LCD widescreens must not be really taken as punishment right? I'm all for return to heavy handed tactics although human rights should be enforced our prison and police service should not have ceased to be severe. I think we are too soft and knife crimes which is our current epidemic should be met with some sort of severe hard punishment like rock breaking from 6am - 6pm. But instead they get the holiday treatment as above. What do you think is a good punishment for serious crimes. Don't you think we are just pampering criminals. Prison should be something to fear and regret not brag about! Yet how many scum do you hear BRAG about a term inside? Think about it!

I`m sorry Mr Singh but since the introduction of a multicultural

society into this country it appears that the crime rate has risen.

Most of the crime is perpetrated by Black (mostly) people.

Asian people have had riots in this country and some people

have died through this. In England if we don`t agree with something we don`t kill each other with knifes we have riots

where we burn out shops and trash things and nobody dies.

take their kids of em at an early age to stop the parental role thing - thats one of the 'interesting' ideas i've heard discussed

your right we don't do enought to punish criminals today but that is the down side of our system i agree that serious crimes shouldn't be punished with no working and the tax payers paying for it. i say lock em up and make them earn there own food and board

Serious crime is best punished by shooting the perpetrator. Prisons are a waste of time and my money.

You're right about the 60's..... thats when hanging was abolished - we used to have a government with balls and before Maggie ruined it with 10 years of selling everything that Great Britain stood for!

As much as i hated the Arabs in Saudi when i worked there - there was 1 really good thing about their punishment system IT WAS A FCUKING GOOD DETERRENT!

How many would commit burgalry / theft? if they new they would lose a limb and be publically flogged for their crime????

Dont reckon there'd be many repeat offenders......do you?
