I am a writer so am searching for the highest external bleeding possible. Does the blade have to hit an artery, a vein, a particular ventricle etc.?

Many Thanks,

  1. the aorta just exiting the heart would produce a vast amount of blood, as the heart would still beat efficiently (which it wouldnt if you stabbed it directly). You could empty the body in less than a minute if you stabbed it.

  2. If there is a cut on the heart, there's gonna be a lot of blood. It's a no brainer if you think about it, I mean, the heart does pump out a lot of blood per minute yeah?

    There might be a bit less blood at first though, when the body goes into shock. The worse heart wounds are to the aorta.

  3. Alot...and that is gross...unless you want experiment on my ex-husband,, but that would be very difficult since he doesn't have a heart.LOL

  4. through the heart is perhaps the most emotional and symbolic, however, a couple of thrusts to an artery would create the most blood. not so much a spurt of blood, but perhaps a continuous flow.

  5. if the knife puncture the heart, there will be extreme bleeding.. and if you got the aorta, where the blood being pump at high pressure, he/she will die in just few minutes or seconds if you're lucky..

    PEACE =D
