Earlier, the penultimate day began with the Knights resuming their first innings from an overnight score of 465 for nine.

They took the score to 209, before Chetty was dismissed after smacking 24 runs. Meanwhile, Zondo stayed unbeaten on 52 with skipper D Smit (16) as they ended the day by posting 252 runs.
