Knitted toy?

Hej,

I have a knitted toy poodle which is stuffed with sawdust, the colour WAS white, it was made by a very old lady of 83y rs. It belongs to my son who was born in the 60's. He does not know that I still treasure it. I would like to clean it as it is very aged with dirt and looks grey . I have tried talcumpowder but to no avail. Can you help me to keep my (baby's) toy? I hope he does not read this as I am sure he will be embarrassed. ( mothers!) Thank you. Ann

Go to the dry cleaners they mite be able to help as they are trained for that sort of thing.

that's a hard one Ann with it being sawdust no way can you wet it.how about some soap suds get bubble bath foam it up and gently dab the foam on to toy then dry with hair dryer chow.
