Knitting mushroom question?

We have lost the directions to our "Hearthsongs knitting mushroom" does anyone have any idea about what they said to do?

I looked up the Hearthsongs knitting mushroom and it looks very similar for what's called "spool knitting" with a old one called the "Little Knitter".  Here's a link to instructions for using that and it should work for your knitting mushroom:
