Knock Boy tipped for victory in the Ladbrokesbingo.com Handicap Chase

Knock Boy is the favourite for Ladbrokesbingo.com Handicap Chase (For The g*y Record Challenge Trophy) at Folkestone in England on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. The triumphant horse will be awarded with a cash prize of £2,395.
A total of seven runners have been attracted towards the two miles event and their names are: Knock Boy, Tecktal, Launde, Maximix, Mekong Miss, Watchmaker and Patrick Dee.
Knock Boy has got quite a lot of experience in chase races, as he has taken part in 16 of them. However, the Linda Jewell’s trained gelding has been unable to win any of the events he took part in.
Despite these stats, the bookmakers have shown confidence in the 10-year-old runner, who has finished runner up once and third on six occasions. One of the reasons why he is tipped for victory today is his jockey, Jamie Moore, who has got quite a lot of
experience in all sorts of racing.
Moore has earned 78 victories while chasing and he is a seasoned jockey. He has got a pretty decent strike rate and will be looking forward to a strong run at Folkestone.
Other than today’s favourite, Tecktal also has a decent chance of making a solid impression. She has taken part in just one chase event in her career, but that produced a terrific result for her.
The nine-year-old mare finished as runner up in her only chase outing and this will certainly encourage the punters to place more bets on her. She will be partnered by Richard Killoran, who has done well recently.
Killoran has been victorious in 12 races while chasing and will look to fight for another one today. He has a very solid chance at Folkestone, but will need to be focussed throughout the race.
The bookmakers have also shown some faith in seasoned runner, Launde, who has participated in 33 chase races. He managed to win just four of them, but has decent chances of another victory today.
Chris Gordon’s trained gelding will be ridden by Tom Cannon, who has been victorious in 19 chase races.
The top three favourites seem to be pretty evenly matched for today’s event. The other four runners do not seem to have the momentum with them at the moment, so it will be difficult for them to fight for victory.
