Didn't read any other problems anymore, except this code.

PO325 Problem Code- Knock Sensor

I had a misfire and a knock sensor condition. Well I put a new igition coil, which fixed my misfire. I didn't bother checking on the knock sensor condition at the time, so I took it for a ride. My car sounded nicer and was more power then ever for about 5-20 miles, then it went back to its old ways. Can a knock sensor condition make my exhuast sound horrible (Sounds like a lawnmower now; popping noise :(, make the engine shake to where I can feel it on the steering wheel, and take away power from my engine? Also, if a timing belt is timed wrong by maybe one tooth could that cause my engine to run rough, therefore setting off the knock sensor???

  1. not sure.. but if you clear the code and it comes back up a code for the knock sensor then its bad anyway.. you need to replace it. and who knows that may fix it..
