  1. i would say a hook straight to the temple would knock him clean out (and a clear shot)!!!

  2. Wow these guys really sound like they've watched some fighting! Head on over to general sports & answer my question gentleman...thanx!!

    "Techniques to improve fighting,coordination...?"

  3. The point of the chin. A nerve called the "mental foreman" travels through each side of the lower jaw. When this nerve is compressed due to a sharp punch to either side of the lower jaw, it's night night for the boxer. I knocked a couple of guys out using that punch while boxing in the Navy.

  4. liver.

a square shot to the liver is the only 100% for sure way to knock someone down.  you dont see it much because therer are so few left handed body pounders out there.  and the right side of the body is easy to defend.

that being said...the surest way to knock someone down/out is a solid left hook to the liver.

  5. The chin.

  6. Well, if you land the punch cleanly, then I would say the best way to knock some one out is with one of these punches-

Left hook to the liver- if you get hit hard enough in the liver, you will not be able to breathe for at least 10 seconds and your body will go into a state of paralysis and you will not be able to get up.  Examples: Roy Jones vs. Virgil Hill, Bernard Hopkins vs. Oscar De La Hoya, Gerry Penalosa vs. Johhny Gonzalez, Ricky Hatton vs. Jose Luis Castillo.

Hard shot to the temple or behind the ear- These are sometimes called "equilibrium" shots because of the way that they throw your balance off.  You will be forced to go down because your legs will not keep you up.

Hard shot to the chin- It will separate you from your senses.  Examples: David Tua vs. John Ruiz, Sonny Liston vs. Floyd Patterson (1 and 2).

Again, you must land the punch cleanly and you have to have the power to do some damage, so it is not the easiest thing to do, but when it does happen, the result is almost always devastating.

  7. hmmm in the jaw or right at their temple or dome or whatever u call it the section on the side of your head right above the eye...TRUST ME ive been in alot of fights and those work...pretty soon imma be fighting in mma

  8. chin

  9. There are several methods and spots to land a KO punch.

On the body it is surely the liver. It contains so much blood that a punch on it causes a shockwave through your arteria system right to the brain. This creates a slight pressure and your brain losews control for a while. Result: you can't control your feet anymore and go down.

Another good spot on the body is the "solarplexus", a nerve system right in the middle of your chest. But you need to hit it quite hard. The nerves get overstimulated and the result is that you get stunned for a moment and go down.

Punches to the head always work the same way. You have to shake your opponents head as hard as you can. The brain is swimming in a liquid and so doesn't react promptly to a movement of the skull. If the movement is fast enough, the brain collides with the skull and again you pass out. So if you punch the head, try to get the head moving. Hooks and uppercuts to the chin and hooks to the temple are ideal.

You can also KO somebody by quickly jabbing him twice. This causes als a nod-like movement of the head.

Please excuse any grammar errors, but english is not my first language.
