Knoppogue Pearl to shine in William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV Stakes at Newcastle
There are several good reasons for Knoppogue Pearl’s heavy support at Newcastle. The black b***h recently showed a lot of progress, facing no difficulty in going up on the grading ladder.
On her latest two trips at the A3 level, the b***h was mighty impressive. She did nothing wrong, but remained unlucky on both occasions.
After missing the crown only by a short head’s distance in mid September, the daughter of Hondo Black could not add the finishing touch, and ended up second just by a head’s distance.
She ran outstandingly last twice, and the only thing she lacked was luck factor. Her two wonderful performances at the A3 level came in the wake of a couple of fascinating wins at the lower grades.
Prior to her superb 2-length success at the A4 level, D. Spraggon’s charge put her journey on the winning ways with a classy triumph at the A5 level. She has been performing quite consistently over the past few weeks, and looks to be in great shape.
So, there is no reason why she should not come up with a bold show in the William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV Stakes, a 480 metres contest, set to take place at Newcastle on Tuesday, September 25, 2012.
Other hounds in the pack are: Babs Star, Swift Ford, Cee Bee, Shelbourne Carly and Droopys Vegas. The £123 meeting is due to get started at 21:07 GMT. Babs Star will be looking to forge ahead early. Although luck is not on his side these days, it is hard to rule him out of the equation.
Cee Bee has a shout for sure. One can expect her to share the podium tonight. Droopys Vegas appears to have it to do on this occasion. The black b***h is in awful form these days, and needs to do something special to break the shackles. Similarly, it is not easy for Swift Ford to go for the top prize.
Knoppogue Pearl needs to stay cautious of Cee Bee, who can come up with a surprise at any stage of the game. We wish the best of luck to all the hounds.
