Knotts visiting tips?

hi i am from utah... going to knotts for the first time friday any good rides and shows to see?... any advice/tips on seeing knotts in one day. I recently called them and they said a water ride called Big Foot Rapids was closed... are there any other water rides that can get you wet coz we are expecting it to be very hot.... thanks plz give some suggestions

  1. Big Foot Rapids is currently closed so that they can finish up construction of the new Roller Coaster "Pony Express" that opens in a couple of months.  

    They do have a couple of other "Water" rides

    Perilous Plunge (This one will get you the wettest), but you can also just stand on the bridge and get soaked as the boats go by)

    Timber Mountain Log Ride

    Rip Tide (If Open)

    The first rides you need to go on are the following.

    Silver Bullet

    Xcelerator

    GhostRider

    These are the rides that as the day goes on will have the longest waits.  If possible get to Silver Bullet right when the park opens.

    For shows the one you should try and see is the Wild West Stunt Show.  For this the first and last shows seem to be the least crowded, but they can still be full several minutes before the start time.


  2. That place is awesome.  I haven't been in a while and I never really knew all the rides to begin with.  I think that ride has been closed for a long time though, not sure why.  But there is plenty of rides and things to do while there for the whole family.

  4. there's this really tall water ride, it's so much fun, but unfortunately i can't think of the name right now, and there's also one that spins u upside down (they're both in the boardwalk place at knotts), ur going to have a great time, all the rides are good. have fun

  5. The weather is not expected to be very hot. (We live in the OC,about twenty minutes by freeway to Knott's) My grandchildren loved the water ride, I do not know if Big Foot is the same one.  Have a good time.
