  1. Don't cut it off just because of tangles.

Long hair is much better because you can do a lot with it.

Try using L'oréal kids tangle tamer, i know it says kids, but it works really really well.

Conditioner helps too, which ever one you prefer.

  2. before you cut your hair try putting in it some leave-in conditioner and untangle you hair with your fingers instead of a brush or comb. maybe that will help your rebellious hair. LOL.

  3. If your hair is that long it is probably pretty damaged and has split ends. Cut it to get rid of the split ends and then you should have a fresh start and less tangles. A change is always good so go for it!  Find a picture in a magazine you like and use that as a model!

  4. Use a product, If you like it defiently dont get it cut. I am a guy and I dont have long hair but I dont have short hair. Just find a conditioner you like that works after you get out of the shower you HAVe to brush your hair. Then again if your still unsatisfied then cut it. I use Simply STraight by Marc Antony. Works perfect for me.

  5. cut your hair and get a mullet...you'll probably look awesome.

  6. An ionic hairbrush might work... and even an ionic hair dryer.  You can try a leave-in conditioner.  I have thick hair that gets tangled - I wash only the top half of my hair (roots to the middle) with a shampoo-plus-conditioner; then I add regular conditioner to only the bottom half of my hair.  Rinse with COLD water!  Towel dry, then add a leave-in detangler or hair smoothing cream.  Brush through, and air dry or use the ionic hair dryer.  Try that...

  7. Mine used to get really knotty, especially at night, so I put it in a braid. In the day time if I don't have it up, like in pony tails or braids, when I'm home I'll just brush it every so often, when it gets knotty, or if I go somewhere, I'll use a detangling spray and a small brush I keep in my book bag. A few months ago my mom cut off my split ends (like an inch) and that helped with the knots too. Also if its knotty when you brush it when you get out of the shower, try brushing it before, because its easier to brush dry hair, it hurts less, and has less knots!

    Good luck! :)

  8. Just cut it, and grow it out healthy. Or get a trim and get layers. It will be easier to style and handle.
