Question:

Know a good preschool graduation poem?

My son is graduating preschool in August and will start kindergarten in September. We're all very excited but also sad...most of the kids in his preschool class have been friends since he was 1 year old. Do you know any good poems about preschool graduation? I am hoping for a poem for him, and maybe something to give the friends too. Something that deals with the excitement, but also the sadness, the friendships, the parents' pride, etc. Thanks!!

    Great Expectations

    It’s time to say good-bye.

Our class has come to an end.

    I’ve made more cherished memories

    And many more friends.

I’ve watched your children learn and grow

And change from day to day.

I hope that all the things we’ve done

Have helped in some small way.

    So it’s with happy memories

I send them out the door,

    With great hope and expectations

For what next year holds in store.

    Graduation

Sung to: "Twinkle Twinkle little star"

    Kindergarten here we come

We know we'll have lots of fun

Lots of things to make and do

    Reading Writing Counting too

    Kindergarten here we come

We know we'll have lots of fun

    Of to Kindergarten we go

    When I started PreSchool

    I was very very small

    I am much bigger now

    Can't you see how tall

I learned to write my name

    And say my ABC's

    Oh, I am growing up

Off we go to Kindergarten, 3x's

    Oh, we are growing up!
