Know any easily comprehensible history websites?

these websites can they be based either on the British or the Dutch, and tell me what they were like and the things they did in WW1 and 2 in a easy to understand manner - reasons they gave up on such countries, reasons they conquered such countries and so on. Please? I did search for websites but they're kind of confusing like wikipedia - i searched for Dutch there and it was telling me about Holland and not about conquering the other countries and all....so if you can help...PLEASE???? please?

  1. I think you must have the Dutch and Germans confused.

    The Dutch are from the Netherlands, also incorrectly known as Holland.

    The Germans are from Germany.

    But, if you really mean the Dutch, this is a good site.
