Know any famous vampires?

I've got the first names for the vampires/characters for my book now I need last names. My book is set in the 17th century. I need at least 5 names. I am looking for famous/notorious vampires. The names can be from England, Romania, Rome, Ireland, etc. Any ones help would be very much appreciated.

Vlad the impaler from Romania. He was known as a vampire, Dracula was made after him...

Also I read a book a long time ago called The Book of Nod.... Cain from the bible (Cain and Able) was the first vampire.
