Know any female brottens?

Thats it!! I am helping my friend to find her birth mother and all she has is a last name. What are some tips to search.

What is her approx age?  If you know this, and the state you can search using www.peoplefinders.com  other places to search is classmates.com and reunion.com  these sites are good because they list both maiden name and married name.  They give you an age reference as well becuase of graduation year.  

You can also use zabasearch.com to search.  The name is not too common and you should be able to narrow down at least to some relatives living in the area of your friens birth.

Need many more details to help further.

Your friend has much more information than most adoptees and this appears to be a search that can be accomplished.  

You friend if they haven't done so already should apply for any non-id information from the agency or state.  This will tell  you mother's age and if she had any siblings at the time of the birth.

She probably knows the correct date of her birth, too (unless that information was lost or wasn't available when she became available for adoption).

Go with the information she has & Google for reunion sites for birth families and adoptees.    Register with as many as possible, she never knows where she might find a birth relative.

She might also consider contacting a private investigator.  She should call around to find the one she's most comfortable with who can work within her budget.

if she knows the state where she was born, she could contact Vital Records and request a birth certificate.

If she knows the agency or attorney her adoptive family used she should be able to contact them & see what they can do to help out.

I hope she finds them & has a happy reunion.

i believe the website is called www.who-me.com. i used it and within 24 hours had a last name for birthmother and a search angel willing to help me for free.
