  1. I went to Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh.  It was very good in the academics and that is where I got started in serious volleyball.  It is also very diverse in the different fields.    It had everything from a drama and art programs to the sciences and engineering.

  2. I urge you to consider playing at an ivy league school. Unlike Carnegie Mellon, which will limit you to fields in science and performing arts, the Ivy leagues as a whole cover all areas of academics and are a valuable asset on a resume. Ivy League schools are technically Division I however the level that they play at is closer to Division III due to how difficult it is for them to find talented athletes who are also in the top academic percentile in the country. Agreeing to play a sport at an Ivy League will help to give your application a push, giving you a leg up on any standard applicant to the school.

  3. Elon University(D1) has an excellent volleyball team and

Catawba College also has an excellent volleyball program(D2)

Greensboro College (D3) [has a great head coach]
