Know any good places to stay in San Juan, Puerto Rico?

My family and I (3 people) are going to San Juan, Puerto Rico for a family vacation this Spring Break. We're staying the 3rd of April thru the 8th and would like a nice, but not too expensive place to stay. Does anyone know of any good places? Or does anyone have any good tips for traveling in Puerto Rico, we've never been and I'm the only one who speaks any Spanish (this consists of basic 1st year Spanish), so we're in a little over our heads here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Condado area is beautiful and they have nice restaurants that are inexpensive.

taxis are cheaper to go into old sanjjuan.

people speak english there no worries,.
