if you visit Como, don't forget Brunate, a little town over Como, reachable with a characteristic cable railway near ComoLago train station, you will enjoy a very very nice panorama from sant Maurice lighthouse (Faro di SanMaurizio) near Brunate...

you cannot forget GardaLake at border with veneto, in direction Venice...

I think that you should visit castles or villas, they are always located in wonderful places. here you are a site where you can find all the information you need, you can choose between several circuits in the whole Lombardia.

personally, I love Lago Maggiore and Lago di Como, but also Bergamo Alta (the high part of Bergamo) is amazing: i went there on Sunday at the sunset and it was really great.
