Stone Butch Blues : A Novel

    by Leslie Feinberg

Marley & Me : Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog

    by John Grogan

  2. Where the Red Fern Grows~~ Animals in jeopardy omg i cried all the way through that.

  3. The Notebook

    Nights in Rodanthe

  4. How about Where the Red Fern Grows

  5. "Hope's Boy," Andrew Bridge,

"When Invisible Children Sing," Dr. Chi Cheng Huang,

    "The Overachievers," Alexandra Robbins.

  6. The Twilight series by Stefenie Meyer. I cried the whole way through New Moon. They are all amazing. I'v read the whole series like three times and cried everytime.

  7. The Notebook- Nicholas Sparks

Message in a Bottle- same author

The Art of Racing in the Rain- Garth Stein

  8. They Cage the Animals at Night is really sad. Had to read it for an advanced English course a couple years ago.

  9. Summer of My German Soldier. Read it when I was twelve and it made me sob like there was no tomorrow. It's about this 12 year old Jewish girl growing up with an emotionally detached mother, physically abusive father, and all too perfect sister. One day she happens upon a German captive who has run away and is hiding in her attic. Big mistake as this is during World War 2 with the n***s and everything. Her being a Jewish girl on top of it, if anybody found out it would ruin her.

It isn't a romance, or maybe it is...but it's  very poignant and all the girl has to go through just strikes at you until you feel the tears coming on.  It's also a book about kindness and humanity.

    Very highly recommended.

  10. what my mother doesnt know

    nights at the rodanthe

    suzannes diary for nicholas....i cried

  11. The Idiot - Fyodor Dostoevsky.

It's about the plight of a genuinely good epileptic man in a cynical and rotten society.

  12. My sisters keeper. by Jodi Picoult.

I will forever be affected by that book.
