Know anything about ADOPTION Laws from Ghana to the UK?

I have 2 neices in ghana who are aged 4 and 11. Their mother is unable to take care of them and i was considering adopting them and brining them here with me to bring tem up. She has already approved this but i dont know where to start and im trying to find out about the laws in this country and what i need to do. anyone know anything atall that may be of help?

Why do you have to adopt them and take them away from their mother?  Can't you find a way to HELP HER, instead of helping YOURSELF to her children?

Move her to your house with them.  Move there and live with them and help out.  Why separate a family if you can avoid it?

Why not move there to look after them?

Pros: nice weather. Not uprooting the kids from their birth place. Not putting more strain on the UK economy.

Cons: errrm, can't think of any.
