Know anything about Nova Scotia?

I need to bring in an "artifact" with my project about Yarmouth and Acadia Nova Scotia. it can be a legend, book, song, dance, music, recipe..etc. Im not sure what to bring in, any ideas?

should you need a triva type answer, whats odd about halifax, is that for all its history, the city has never had a waste treatment facility, yes its been dumped into the harbour all these years, the good new is the plan for a state of the art system which may finally be on the way.
