  1. what kind of insurance? homeowners, renters, life, or auto? I would call your local Primerica Financial Services office and they will explain all insurances to you with no obligation.

  2. If you don’t know anything about insurance, I recommend speaking with an insurance broker. A broker handles many kinds of insurance and works with several insurance companies to get you the best price for the coverage you need. To find a broker in your area, log onto a website like http://www.homeownerswiz.com http://www.lifeinsurancewiz.com  or http://www.healthinsurancewiz.com and complete the online form. The broker will call you. There is no cost or obligation for the consultation. Good luck!

  3. Answer from a General Insurance Agent

Since you own a car, obviously, you need Auto Insurance.

If you are buying the home, you will need a Homeowners Insurance Policy.

If renting, then a simple Renters Insurance policy will be sufficient.

If your an animal lover then you may even want some pet insurance.

I've found that most people are either 1 of these 2, they are either Woefully under-insured or Grossly over-Insured.

A good insurance agent can advise you of the types of policies and breadth of coverage available. But you should always keep in mind that we, as agents even with the best intentions, we already have a built in bias in that we derive our livelihood from the premiums you pay. Obviously the more coverage you buy then the more premium we earn.

It is really something that you need to set down and think about and determine for yourself where your priorities lay, what your greatest concerns are and of course, what you can realistically afford given your financial ability to pay

Remember, You know yourself better than anyone.

Take care and the best of luck in your new life.

  4. To answer your question, you need to talk with a professional agent face to face. Have him or her do a Financial Need Analysis to help you determine, for your own peace of mind, what kinds and how much insurance you need.

You may start with you auto insurance agent.

    You may consider these products:

Health insurance: If you don't have it at work.

Life insurance: A combination of whole life and term.

Disability Income: To provide an income if you are injured or   become ill and can't work.

A retirement plan: to accumulate wealth for your future.

Homeowners or renters insurance, in addition to auto.

A local agent can explain all these coverages, and determine your exact needs.

    Best wishes, God bless

  5. OK, you probably need car insurance most, because it's required by law.

If you're looking for private insurance, it's not going to have maternity benefits, anyway.
