I've heard that you can buy a train ticket that lets you travel on any trains in Europe for a month or so. A friend had the bright idea to travel on night trains and then spend the day at whichever place (or visa versa), so as not to have to pay for accommodation. We’d love to travel to Czechoslovakia… Was just wondering if any of you have had any experience or fantastic ideas?? :)

  1. You're thinking of the Europass.  Unfortunately, it looks like the Czech Republic is kind of off the main line, and you'd have to get either a separate Eastern Europe pass or a separate Czech-Austria pass and go through Austria or Hungary from whichever country you're starting in.
