ok i'm having sharp pains in my breast, and sometimes they feel kind of heavy. my last period was 7/21 and now it's 8/24 and i'm having light pink spotting with a mix of a light brown spotting, and that's being going on since saturday night. didn't have any cramping n my back at first, but now i'm have sharp pains and cramps in my lower abdominal. my back is hurting. had some of the same problems last month period came 2 week later, y would something like that happen? don't say that i might b pregnant, because that would b pretty hard 2 do when u have PCOS. i was thinking that it was from me taking the prenatal vitamins, but i'm not really sure, can they make u feel like that. i also thew up the other week while eating something that i always eat. can that b from the prenatal vitamins 2? and i have been having these light headaches as well, and i really haven't been eating much after that. so really what do u think is going on with my crazy body? and please your opinion is well needed, but if u only have neg S**t 2 say please say bye now.

and what is a good prenatal vitamin 2 take, right now i'm taking some from walmart (spring valley). and the reason y i'm taking them is because my husband and i r getting ready 2 start trying 4 baby #2 and the dr told me 2 start taking them.

  1. im pregnant,  and i was taking the same kind of prenatal vitamins you are taking now. well i had the same things happen to me so i talked to my doctor about it and she said that some people respond to them differently (which i already knew) another doctor told me to take the "Flintstones vitamins" that are also at walmart. they have alot of what you need in them that your baby also needs. try taking those for awhile and see if it helps.

    god bless and good luck

  2. go see your doctor.

  3. From one mom to another, it is possible to be misdiagnosed with PCOS. I was also, when actually the problem was an underlying thyroid disorder. After treatment for that,I began regular periods and was able to successfully get pregnant.

Your spotting could be the implantation of a fertilized egg, symptoms of an STD,the starting of your period, or the beginnings of a miscarriage. If it causes a lot of pain, I would hurry in to the ER.

Also, prenatal vitamins, no matter the brand are relatively safe in advised dosage, but one thing they are notorious for, is upset stomach when taken on an empty stomach. Its best to take in the morning with a decent breakfast.

Give it another week before you try a pregnancy test, but if the pain keeps up, be seen by a doctor right away.Hope that helps, and good luck!

  4. The prenatal vitamins should not be causing any of these problems. Prenatal vitamins are similar to other vitamins, just a bit higher levels of some of the ingredients that help with keeping a healthy pregnancy.

I know nothing about PCOS, but is it possible any of these symptoms may be contributed to it? I would call a doctor and get an appointment scheduled to be on the safe side.

Edit: Walmart vitamins are fine, I used them during my pregnancy. They are not that much different than other brands, FDA has to approve them like all the others.

  5. you got them from walmart?

    thats your problem.
