Know of any restaurants in and around Toronto open on Christmas Day?

Looking to dine out this year! I know the Old MIll does a special xmas day buffet, approx. $50 per person. Need more suggestions.

I am a former chef and worked in the Hotel side of the trade, yes both of the other answers are correct, even places like the Mandarin might be open, I know of 2 that were open last year, but the major hotels also have a nice dineer menu for guest and other patrons to partake in.

You right to thinking about it now, best to check out the places your interested in and find out there policy so you can make reservations or have a plan for that day, even most Indian place or non western types, I lived in North York in the heart of the Jewish section of the city, it is a bit of a trek, but there often open, unless it is on a Friday or Saturday the sabbath, best try a nimber of places and discuss it with your fellow dinner guests.

There is a resturant called Town & Country (I believe) that does xmas day buffet. It's around Queen's Quay and Parliment.
