Spray painting a surfboard isn't a good idea. The paint will be peeling off and you'll have a mess to contend with. You have two viable options: Take the board to a shaper, who can remove the fiberglass coatings, place the graphics, then reglass (cheaper to buy a new board), or get a vinyl graphic from http://www.haolekid.com/. He can make anything custom, in multiple colors. I've used him for designs on the bottom of my boards (the wax will melt them off the deck). I haven't spoken with Bruce Grimes of Prime Surfboards in a while, he may still be in Mexico, but he's a fantastic shaper and graphic artist. http://www.thesurfgroup.net/
